Downton Zombie by Wade Bradford
October 22nd-24th, 7:30pm
The Brampton House is alive with excitement as the Lord and Lady of the house are preparing for yet another dinner party at their manor. To make sure that the party runs smoothly, and is on-par with other dinner parties, they hire a new parlor maid. This new parlor maid, Petunia, comes in the wake of the mysterious resignation of their previous maid who left suddenly and unexpectedly. Petunia comes with excellent credentials, having previously worked at the infamous Downton Abbey; even with her many qualifications, there is something not quite right with Petunia. She has a terrible habit of biting people, and doesn’t seem to be able to hold a conversation! During the party the other servants are trying to keep Petunia from biting the guests, and spreading the zombie plague!
Volunteer Opportunities: Let's put the "Community" back in Community Theatre!
Have you ever dreamed of working in Show Biz? The Chesterfield Community Theatre is always looking for volunteers to join our collaborative family-- no previous experience required, but enthusiasm and curiosity are a must! We are seeking volunteers to contribute in costume and prop construction, publicity, rehearsal support, concessions, and fundraising events. As productions evolve, specific needs will also be posted on this webpage. For more information, please email Artistic Director Rebecca Barringhaus at email@example.com
Mastering Stage Management
Stage managers are the invisible stars of live theatre... if a backstage crew is at the top of their game, the show goes so smoothly that you'd never know they were there! During each Chesterfield Community Theatre production, 3-4 student volunteers are selected to serve as stage crew. These middle school, high school, or college level students attend all rehearsals, helping to develop the "technical" side of the production: organizing and constructing props, collecting and fitting costumes, choreographing scene changes, and assisting the director. During performances, armed with headset and flashlight, they disappear into the wings to act out their own impressive show backstage. For information or to apply for a Mastering Stage Management slot, please email Artistic Director Rebecca Barringhaus at firstname.lastname@example.org
Summer Drama Day Camps at the West County Family YMCA

Included are the Actor's Studio camp (who will perform Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing this year) and Summer Stock camp (who will perform Annie Jr. this year). All camps are led by professional and college performers.
