Every day at YMCA Camp Lakewood brings new adventures! From morning flag raising and camper-chosen activities to cabin time and evening programs, here's a look at a typical day at Traditional Camp.

FUN'S ON THE MENU
We know a happy camper is a well-fed camper! We serve three balanced meals and two snacks daily, designing our menus to satisfy hungry adventurers while offering plenty of choices for picky eaters.
Always Available: We offer a full salad bar at lunch and dinner, plus fresh fruit and a cereal bar at breakfast, ensuring there is always something healthy and familiar to eat.
Camp Traditions: Dining is part of the fun! From Wednesday Cookouts to our famous "Utensils Optional" Sunday Night Spaghetti, mealtime is a chance to bond with cabin mates.
Find Your New Favorite Thing
With a huge range of activities on water and land, campers get to choose their own adventure. Many parents tell us their child discovered a brand new passion at camp. From archery to arts and crafts, there's an activity for all interests!
Note for Waterfront Activities
All campers take a brief swim evaluation upon arrival. This ensures they are placed in a swim level (Green, Yellow, or Blue) that allows them to safely enjoy our lake activities and inflatables.
