24/7 Full-Time Nurse on Staff

All Staff CPR/First-Aid Certified

Caring, Trained Counselors

Our staff are the heart of camp. They are more than counselors; they are role models trained to create a safe and inclusive environment for every child.

  • Comprehensive Background Checks: Every staff member undergoes a thorough background check.
  • Rigorous Training: All staff are at least 18 years old and are certified in CPR and First Aid.
  • Low Ratios: We maintain low staff-to-camper ratios to ensure every child gets supervision and support.
  • Specialized Skills: Our team includes certified lifeguards, high-ropes instructors, and equestrian specialists.

Comprehensive On-Site Care

We have a dedicated Health Lodge on-site, staffed 24 hours a day by qualified medical professionals to manage everything from scrapes to medications.

Medication Policy

To ensure the safety of all campers, all medications (prescription and over-the-counter) are collected by our staff Nurse during check-in and dispensed as prescribed.

  • Required Forms: A physical exam completed by a doctor within the last 24 months is required for all campers. A copy of your insurance card and most up-to-date immunization records is also required.
  • Medication Check-In: All medications must be in their original, labeled containers.
  • Blister Pack Policy: We have partnered with a pharmacy for an optional blister-pack service for your convenience. Please note: This is not a requirement, but an option for families who wish to use it.

Nourishing, Kid-Friendly Meals

We provide three well-balanced, kid-friendly meals and two snacks each day. Our team is experienced in accommodating most common food allergies and dietary needs.

How to Notify Us: All allergies and dietary restrictions must be noted on your camper's Health Form at least two weeks prior to their arrival.
Our Process: We do not use peanuts in our kitchen. Our food service team works to create a safe and appropriate meal plan.
Picky Eaters: We always offer alternatives like a salad bar and fruit options to ensure every camper finds something they enjoy.

Building Resilience & Community

It's normal to miss home! Our staff are trained to help campers navigate these feelings by keeping them engaged, validating their feelings, and connecting them with new friends. This is often where a child truly finds their confidence.

  • Our Partnership: We practice a "no phone" policy to help campers build independence. If homesickness persists, our staff will partner with you on a supportive plan.
  • Camper Communication: we make it easy for families to keep in touch, see what’s happening at camp, and share in the fun, while still giving campers the chance to grow in independence and confidence. Click here to learn more.
