Carondelet Park Rec Complex Youth Sports

Kids who play sports at the Y discover so much more than their athletic abilities. They build character, develop self-confidence and create healthy relationships. Our approach allows players to learn and have fun! YMCA Youth Sports are open to Y members and non-members. Members receive the lowest program fees.

Registration for Our Winter 2019 Sports Session
Early Bird Registration:
 October 15 – December 10 (fees increase $15 on December 11)
Registration: December 11 – January 2
Practices Begin for League Play: Week of January 14 | Season Dates: January 26 – March 9

(Coed ages 3-5)

Instructional skills clinic/game to learn the fundamentals of basketball.

Youth Basketball League - register here
(Grades K-8)

Instructional league for kids in grade K and up to learn the basics of basketball in gameplay. League features one practice during the week and games on Saturdays. Participants should register for the grade they are currently in or if summer leagues, the grade they are entering in the fall. K-grade 2 are coed. Depending on the number of registrations in grade 3-8 leagues, boys and girls may be combined. Weekly practices and games will be at the Y or another location. Practice days and times will be determined by availability. Families will receive practice and game schedules in advance by email. Teams (grades K and up only) may have away games at other YMCA locations. We limit travel as much as possible. Coaches are volunteers. Please let us know if you are interested in coaching.

About YMCA Youth Sports Leagues

YMCA coaches participate on a volunteer basis and receive training and support from sports staff. Attendance at one coach’s meeting is required. Please let us know if you’re interested.       

Weekly practices will be at the Y or a predetermined location chosen by the Y. Practice days and times are determined by availability.

Teams may have away games at other YMCA locations. We limit travel as much as possible.
