Community Health & Well-Being

More than a place to work. A community to lean on.

For years, Dianne has been a familiar face at the East Belleville YMCA, caring for children in Child Watch, teaching swim lessons and helping local third graders learn lifesaving skills through Safety Around Water.

When Dianne was diagnosed with breast cancer, her role at the Y had to change, but her connection to the community never did. Throughout treatment, she found encouragement from coworkers, members and families. Today, she's participating in LIVESTRONG® at the YMCA, rebuilding her strength alongside others who understand her journey.
