Summer Day Camp
Amazing things happen when kids unplug and reconnect with others! Y Summer Day Camp provides a fun, safe experience for kids to learn new skills, build self-confidence, and make lasting friendships. The Y offers DOZENS of camps for all interests, including traditional outdoor camps, a huge variety of sports camps, and themed camps for every interest -- like aquatics, cooking, art, theater, science, music and so much more! Across 22 branch locations in both MO and IL, the Y runs camp weekly May 30 - August 11. A small number of branches begin camps May 22. Available for ages 3-17. Full-day and some half-day camps available. Camp ages, types, schedules and prices vary by branch. Please check with your local branch for specific options.
Power Scholars Academy is a five-week academic and enrichment summer program for incoming fourth-sixth graders. This Y-USA National Achievement Gap program is aimed to prevent summer learning loss among students who need the most academic help during the Summer months. Students must commit to attending the full five-week session. Every morning Scholars receive Reading, Math, and STEM instruction from certified teachers. Every afternoon Scholars participate in elective enrichment classes. Plus free Breakfast and Lunch each day, and Field Trips or Guest Speakers every Friday.The Summer program will run from July 5 - August 4. The only cost is a $50 registration fee for the entire five-week program. This is open to all incoming 4th-6th graders in the area, and you do not need to be a YMCA member to enroll. Times: 8:15am-3:15pm Monday-Friday (Before and After Care is not provided, nor is transportation for this program.)
Ages: For Incoming 4th, 5th, and 6th Graders. Space is limited in this program and restricted to 40 students per grade.

Outdoor Rangers Camp: The Gateway Region Y, in continued partnership with the US National Park Service, Missouri State Parks, Army Corps of Engineers and US Fish and Wild Life Service, is excited to continue to offer 5 weeks of fun and educational camp opportunities.
