Swim Lessons - New Upgrades!
Y Swim Lessons are about more than just the techniques and skills. They are about nurturing swim skills, developing self-esteem and creating positive experiences that will last a lifetime. When it comes to swimming and water safety, no one is trusted more than the YMCA, America's Swim Instructor. In fact, group swim instruction was developed by the YMCA in 1906. Explore swim lesson stages for ages 6 months and up below.

Session Dates: February 5 – April 1
Member Registration: January 15 – February 11
Non Member Registration: January 22 – February 11
Accompanied by a *parent, infants and toddlers learn swim readiness skills through fun and confidence-building aquatic experiences.
*At the Y, we know families take a variety of forms. As a result, we define parent broadly to include all adults with primary responsibility for raising children, including biological parents, adoptive parents, guardians, stepparents, grandparents, or any other type of parenting relationship.
Recommended skills for all to have in and around water. Students learn water safety and basic swimming competencies.
Skills to support a healthy lifestyle. Students build strong techniques that foster a lifetime of physical activity.
